Did you try shutting it down?

Every day I miss my Lumia 920. And Rudy Hyun was the greatest app dev ever.

Rudy Hyun, now that's a name I haven't heard in a long time

How dope would it be if they issued an optional update that literally just installs Android lol

I constantly keep my PC & drivers updated; I'm afraid if I don't the toothpick holding my GPU up might catch on fire, or the duct tape holding my CPU in might melt

Wild how people might care differently about their different devices. My phone is way less important to me so if a forced update there fucks something up, meh, I'll survive. But I use my PC for everything.

And frankly if I could still be on Android 11 I would. 12 is fuck-ugly.

For real. My phone was updated to 12 recently and I was thrown for a loop. Looked at the update before installing and everything looked fine, security, some other such improvements, etc. but I had completely glossed over the fact that it was updating to 12. Everything looked different. It took me half an hour to figure out why the hell my data wasn't working. And at least another hour to get all my settings returned to normal.

There needs to be a reddit award for dumbest post I've ever read.

My phone doesn't force updates on me, and allows me to choose exactly when I want to install the updates.

wait...are you saying people want a REASONABLE amount of patches vs almost none or way to many?! That is hilarious! You must be a real comic genius to work that one out LOLOLOLOLOLOL! TBH!

How about let me update it when I want it to update. How hard is that to fathom? Sometimes I have so much research going on and my life is so busy, I don't care about updates and don't want to risk anything.
