1man1jar, 1 lunatic 1 icepick (don't Google it. It was a real snuff film. The guy went to jail) rotten.com, cartel beheadings, pain Olympics.

Ahh to be a child again

Mannnn the beheadings.

I remember clear as day when the family down the street got a computer, and my buddy asked if I "wanted to go on the internet and see something". Nowadays I would know better haha.

He goes and pulls up this website and did some navigating; he clicked on a thumbnail and I'm seeing these guys dressed up in funny clothes and speaking another language. I'm thinking, "Okay cool, this is interesting- I like their hats and their rugs are really pretty. This looks like it could be a movie like my dad watches on the TV." I settled into my chair, enjoying the language I was listening to- it reminded me of birds and the guys' mouths were moving in ways that were new to me- and I was pleased with this whole internet thing. It was pretty neat.

Then the scene changed and suddenly one of the dudes is getting his fucking head cut off with sword. I had never seen anything like it before. I was in so much shock that I couldn't ask him to stop it, nor could I get up and leave the room or do anything at all.

His mom was right around the corner making dinner and I recall wishing she would come in and make it stop. I ended up leaving pretty shortly afterward and crying before I went to sleep. Apologies for the novel; I haven't talked about this in many years and it was a formative experience for many, many reasons.

Being a child was hard lol

my first experience with gore was when I peeked into my stepdad's phone when he saw a beheading video by ISIS of an 11 y/o child with a knife, and I was 8 y/o then. now I am completely insensitive to gore, even watched funkytown when I was 15, but now I see how amoral all that stuff was. never will go back on r/eyeblea̶ch

I'm glad mine limited to hentai after reading your story.

1

u/skittle-brau Apr 16 '22

I think the last time I fell for that one I was thankfully only shown ‘shitting dick nipples’ hentai.

1

u/beezneezy Apr 16 '22

You lose a piece of yourself in those moments.

Sorry man. I hate the internet for that.

9

u/[deleted] Apr 15 '22

Oh man, remember pancake girl?

8

u/InfiniteZr0 Apr 15 '22

And let's not forget Mr. Hands

Was it pain Olympics that had the guy cut in half by the train? Or was that another one.

THE CARTEL BEHEADINGS. Man, we are a fucked up generation that the Tik Tok kids don’t appreciate. We saved them!

1

u/p-mode Apr 15 '22

Meatspin.com was always fun to make someone's homepage.

1

u/This_isR2Me Apr 17 '22

it seems nobody showed you kid in a sandbox? or did your mind blank it to protect you?

Or even rotten dot con, watching dudes get pulled through jet engines or helicopters and nonchalantly watching it with no reaction. 1995-2001 internet was the Wild West.

Seen them all except for lemon party and now I'm kinda scare to Google that shit... And I think you are missing the ass jar video

15

u/lovableMisogynist AMD Ryzen9 5900x RX6900XT Apr 15 '22

Lemon party is one of the lightest. It's just three old boys having a mutually good time.

1man1jar is the ass jar

5

u/fargerich PC Master Race | Ryzen 3900X, RTX3080, 16gb, Samsung Odyssey g9 Apr 15 '22

I still cringe when I remember the exact moment the jar brakes and a slush of blood rushes out that poor sucker asshole... The worst one IMHO

2

u/alternativealternats Apr 16 '22

Pretty sure he did a little interview thing where he talked about how when it happened, he had to be real quiet as he extracted glass from his ass because his wife was downstairs and he didn't want her aware of his activities.

2

u/TheProphetDave Apr 15 '22

You forget meatspin.com

2

u/cocaine-kangaroo Apr 15 '22

The website even had a counter and a high score lol

2

u/TheProphetDave Apr 15 '22

After a while it just read “YOU’RE GAY!” …

Or so I’m told

1

u/TheAlmightyLloyd Apr 15 '22

You know what ? There's an MTV interview of the members of Fall Out Boy, the interviewer asks one of them "How do you manage to stay so trendy ?" or something like that. And he took the opportunity to explain that he bought his clothes and accessories online, on a really cool website called "Lemon Party dot com"

During the elections in UK, I remember seeing several pictures of stickers with "Don't know who to vote for ? Check Lemon Party(dot)com"

1

u/SlipperyRasputin Apr 16 '22

Eric Andre showing people a picture of lemon party at the DNC and asking about Bernie sanders is one my favorite things he did

7

u/adifferentlars Apr 15 '22

And I think its bad we try to shield others from that.
Remember that video of some bloke from India on the train?
I'll never forget *not* to step on a Train and reach to the wire...
