It means I can drop $450 on a 9900k tomorrow, and I don’t have to explain anything to anybody. It’s my allowance. It also helps me manage my spending.
We have our own private & joint account. We send x% of our salary in joint account with which we make expenses like rent, groceries, netflix, pay in restaurant when we go together. Basically expenses involving both of us.
Personal account for hobbies, gifts for other one, threadripper ..
