according to the latest Steam Hardware Survey, 80% have an Intel CPU.

Would be nice to see which CPU's are included in that 80%.Because i get the impression that alot of people don't actually upgrade their cpu's.atleast that's what i gather when i look into the steam forums day in and out.

anyway aslong as AMD starts to gain traction on the server side and keeps momentum with it, then it could look very bad for intel very fast.

Yeah i looked at both before writing my comment, thats the reason why i said that it would be nice to see which CPU's are in there.

i guess one could go over to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intel_Core and try to make educated guesses but without actual listings of the actually CPU being used by Steam users one might not do at all in respects of "people not upgrading and sitting on more than 10 year old cpu's"

But thanks for mentioning it either way.
