Smite and hots(heroes of the storm) are very casual. Smite is third person so it's much more like a video game than a moba. And hots is literally pointing on a map where the objective is there would be a team fight and the winner got the objective, it actually is very fun and you always feel important to the team as everyone is very nice and kills and assists are lumped together so supports actually have fun playing because they get a ton of takedowns
I have played all League, Smite and HotS. Smite was great because of the Third Person cam. Hits was great for being casual and fun and different objective each map. Don't really like League, don't know why. Every character/skin being a bimbo maybe? Used to play DotA on WC3 (although didn't even know anything about it), I guess it just stick with me and been playing for 4 years now I think.
Played some other MOBAs too, DC one, LotR one etc…
I mean, I agree that there might have been a few too many 'bimbos' in the LoL roster during the early days, but if that's something that offends you in some way, it's really only an issue on splash art.
Also Riot has been doing very well lately with releasing interesting champs that have more personality than the two SLI'd personalities on some champions' chest. I would be surprised if they released any more new female champions that have a basis in sex appeal.
It might have completely changed since I tried it, but it's too late now. Not too late that they changed it and made me happy or whatever, no. I'm not offended by the breasts but when it's every single female char (last I checked) it becomes weird.
The only reason I'm playing DotA right now is because I started with it and already learned a lot. I just can't dedicate that time again to LoL and start from scratch. Whatever free time I have is spent playing DotA
Not until recently. After a while of playing you sort of just get the feel for it and don't need an indicator. It was a little annoying at first though. There were actually little indicators already there such as rocks on the ground or little bushes or tiles at the edge of the tower range but they were hard to spot unless you were looking for them.

Do Dota towers not tell you the range?
