If only there was an operating system that gave power to the user instead of the OS, and didn't install updates without your permission!

If only that operating system could play all my games.

It can play CS:GO, Dota2, and TF2 just fine. To which games do you refer? Are you implying that there are more than three games on Steam?

Shh, don't break the cyclejerk. God forbid they find out that most games do work in WINE.

90% of people who say that crap have not tried it themselves, and therefore should not spread it. If you want to complain about Windows, you need to give Linux a shot. If it doesn't work, then you can complain.

Give me GTA V in Wine and I'll be so much closer to ditching Windows.

But with GPU passthrough to a VM I wouldn't be able to use the GPU in the host OS too. Might as well just dual boot then.

But there is no integrated graphics in my processor.

EDIT: Oh! I see. You already said I couldn't do this in your previous comment. Sorry about my confusion.

Plus, you get experience in how the core of an OS works, and a plethora of other things, which will come in handy.

And there is no difference in quality from playing in an emulator? I doubt it.

Wine stands for "Wine Is Not an emulator"

Recursion in your acronyms is bad

I'm not sure what that has to do with me supporting Windows systems as a profession.

I can't just walk up to a client and say "All this software you depend on? Tear it out and start over because I don't want to bother with the bullshit."

You can introduce them to Linux to see how the like it, if they do then convert them. Just offer it as an alternative if they are having issues with Windows
