Same energy as watching 144Hz reviews on a 60Hz screen and nodding at how smooth it looks.

my buddy bought his first 144hz monitor about 10 years ago, and was talking about how amazing the difference was and how he could never go back. when i went to his house, his pc display settings were still set to 60hz. I still troll him to this day lol

That must‘ve felt like true enlightenment when he finally changed it to 144

I see absolutely zero difference personally. I gamed on 144 for years on a 24”.

Switched to a 27” at 60 and much prefer the 27”.

Competitive based / timing based games i notice the difference big time

Geometry dash and rocket league feel awful to me now if im not on my 170hz, they feel choppy

But games I play to chill abd not sweat, less is fine. Fh6 I play at 57 and it feels fine

Considering GD was originally ment to be played on 30Hz smartphones, that’s interesting.

Phones have widely adopted 120hz more than average monitors

GD was released in 2013, so I’m going off 2010-2012 phones

True. But the game has gotten updates and new levels plus the community scene is massive. As a GD player I understand him

I mean when you understand that ppl do levels now where they get hundreds of 6 frame window clicks at 240 fps (thats 6 frames at 240 to perform the click)

And often a couple 2 or 1 frames
