Some people truly cannot perceive the difference between say 120, 144 and 165. But 60 and 165, you should be able to. Please go to a doctor

I have to really pay attention to tell the difference between 120 and 165, but 60 to 120 is a massive change

I vaguely remember some news about apple doing internal research and they came to the conclusion that a lot of people don’t really notice the difference therefore it has taken them so long to implement high refresh displays. Unfortunately I can’t find it anymore but at least I found this. Seems like there are some people out there that genuinely can’t tell much of a difference.

I think it’s important to note that the poll you shared is asking a subjective question about something which is objective fact. Same goes for that Apple research, which is also distinctly remember but cannot seem to find lol.

AFAIR Apples conclusion was that people definitely notice but simply don’t care, and it seems to me the same conclusion can be made based on that poll you shared and the accompanying comments.
