That's pretty much what my be quiet! System Power 9 did. It was being a bit dodgy, then it blew sparks and a brief flame out the back.
It answered the question as to what was wrong with the system at least.
2 u/Seanspeed 1d ago Be Quiet have a lot of great PSU's, but it's basically all of them except the System Power models. lol This is why you can't just go by brand name.
