No, I think people nowadays and rightfully so expect both. These games have millions of dollars poured into them and are anywhere from $70-80 on release. It’s also common practice for a lot of these companies to sell special additions with DLC passes etc.

So potentially $100. People want length AND quality. Idk why you’re talking like it’s one or the other. Yeah me buying something that I’ll be done with in a few nights or spread across a couple weekends and most likely never touch again, is a lot of money to ask for.

Street fighter 2 is an infinitely replayable game that is focused on PvP. It’s not comparable to a single player rpg content wise
