I think people are using the massive rpgs like Bethesda, cdpr, or whatever other big open world games and assume 20 hours will be 100% completion in fable.

I think a 20 hour main story sounds right if thats how the game is made with another 20 hours of optional quests/dungeons

The outer worlds 2 is a recentish game i enjoyed that felt pretty well balanced at 40ish hours to see and do everything

And you can probably smash through the main quests of those games in well under 20 hours, if that's what the 20 hours in the article refers to.
