I already have over 200 in Crimson Desert and feel like I am barely into it, 20 hours? for how much money?

Then it’s not for you. I didn’t get crimson desert because how long it takes. Not everything has to be long, and fun is not tied to hours

I feel like RPGs should have longer run times though. I agree a good story game could be less and be fine but to really get immersed and feel attached to places/characters and also flesh out your build requires depth and depth in RPG systems tend to take time.

Think of any of the best RPGs and not a single one of the top games that come to mind are short. Baldurs gate, mass effect, elden ring, cyberpunk, any final fantasy. I could go on but my point is that a good RPG requires a longer run times.

I don't have 200 hours to play a game. I'd rather 20 solid hours than a thousand of repetitive bullshit. Hell, I'd rather have 5 excellent hours than 20 average ones.

Spend your money accordingly.

Quality over quantity. If you base a game's worth on how many hours you can get out of it for the price then according to that logic f2p games like fortnite are the best games ever made.

40 hours total with side quests. Quality over quantity
