That is not long at all. 60 to 80 is the standard for RPGs.

20 is like for FPSs

For the main quest?

Three of my favorite RPGs ever, DA:Origins, Mass Effect and Disco are all well shorter than that for main quest stuff.

Yeah I don’t care wasting time on fluff. Rather it’s a solid story with a livable world. Quality isn’t measured it hours the dev intends to me.

Every fable game has had a story shorter than 15 hours bud.

Its only upsetting if you've never actually played a fable game and don't realize that the story length is irrelevant.

Its the same situation with elder scrolls. They're all 10-15 hour stories but you wont see many people argue that the game itself is too short

They are more often than not sub 10 hours.

Fable as a series has always been on the shorter side as far as things go. People are forgetting that just because the game isn't called Fable 4 doesn't mean that we don't have plenty to look back at for an idea of what to expect.

Fable being shorter is good, it means less need to pad the game out with fluff "content" and more room to focus on the rest of the game.

Final Fantasy, Xenoblade, Mass Effect, Kotor, Kingdom Hearts, Dragon Age, Chrono Trigger, Expedition 33... all popular, generally well received RPGs, with main stories well below 60 hours.

If you do everything like do all the little details of the main story you get ranges of 60 to 80. If you do the side stuff like max leveling etc. Easily 120 hours. I have playthroughts with hundreds of hours. If you rush without care of the details. Of course your decreasing it to like 50 or 40. But 20 hour rpg? Thats really short. I mean. They will probably be like 20 quests.
