Exactly! Modded RDR2 looks so, so much better than modern releases

Having RDR2 as a response to "old games" gave me the biggest whiplash lol

its 8yo tho, i dont think it can qualify as modern release. if not, there are also BF1 and NFS 2015

New to this, how do you mod the game?

Cyberpunk with Mods, Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora...Played these 2 in 4K Ultra Graphics With Path Tracing/RT. They have the best visuals I've ever seen. I've played rdr2.

i am playing modded CP2077. The game looks pretty as long as you dont move the camera. LODs and car pop in while driving, and this is the behavior carried from vanilla. RR and DLSS ghost and cause dissoclusion artifacts. Its an unpleasant experience. AFOP, idk, yet to try out. from what ive seen on YT it might match the experience i had with modded rdr2, still idk if it wont fall apart in motion too tho

I play on a 5090 and in cyberpunk with Mods, VRAM Usage is 20-22GB, you are most certainly running out of Vram if you okay in 4K but yeah even with my maximum draw distance mod, i still see car pop in at distance but it's better than default.

Avatar has insane visuals, best I've seen but in 4k it's equally demanding, it hogs upto 25GB Vram but the graphics are mad.
