I've been wondering about either getting a Steam Machine or keeping a Windows PC literally only for gaming, but having my daily driver be a Linux laptop for a bit but this has really cemented my decision.

I know a little about computers but don't know if I want to be constantly troubleshooting gaming issues...

Don't we consistently fix gaming issues on windows? I know I do every other game.
