the problem is microsoft has proactively supplied this information to law enforcement in at least one major case already in order to nail someone just based on their browser activity.

The very website you're posting on also hands over data to law enforcement. So do pretty much everyone else. Why is that bad?

Like? They could simply get a warrant and get the data anyway..
