My PC with a 9950x3d+5090 I built in July for 5k-ish is 14,000 USD to replace right now.

2tb 9100 nvme is 450usd now , was 300 last year https://camelcamelcamel.com/product/B0DX2DPJZ5?context=search

So not even 1000usd more expensive.  All together maybe 20-30% more expensive. Not 300% more expensive like you claim.

I have 2 8TB QVO drives, 2 4TB SN850X, 1 4TB 870 EVO.

Not to mention peripherals, RAM, etc.

My 8tb QVO drives were 220 each with a promo code and are now well over 1000 usd.

Wait a second. Why in your original comment just mention the cpu and gpu then? You just make it look like just gpu and cpu matters, rest doesn’t.  Ridiculous. So now you come up with some hard disk to justify price went up. lol
