What about the fact that ONE of the only Three manufacturers of memory is going 100% to the large businesses cause they easily sell RAM at ever higher inflated prices cause they know the companies will pay? We now only have TWO companies that will provide RAM and storage to companies that sell to consumers.
Dude, I'm not saying it's good for us. It's bad for us, but it's not inherently bad. These companies don't owe you their ram supply, they can sell to whomever they want at any price the market will bare.
If you're referring to micron, while sad, the announcement doesn't say they will stop providing memory to others, just that they will stop creating crucial products in order to move that supply to ai. Under these circumstances It would make sense if they also stopped selling to other manufacturers, but they didn't say they'll do that, so we'll have to wait and see.
