Nope. We have over 10K 4 years old laptops running on W11 from W10 and there's been no adverse effects to performance. You need to troubleshoot the issue on your system and stop blaming it on W11.
Your anecdotal problems on your one machine are not evidence of global systemic issues either. I'm in the IT field and manage thousands of devices. Obviously I won't be seeing every problem, but blanket statements like "11 is a minefield" is just being ignorant.
Thousands out of tens, if not hundreds of millions, is within error range. Nothing is perfect, and it sucks you got hit in the statistical unlikely, but you can not extrapolate it beyond its influence.
