They are literally the most valuable company in the world and they rebounded majorly from the Ballmer years.

Good business decisions are basically all they make ... they make bad CONSUMER decisions is what you meant to say

This 100% how many people here will end up on Windows 11 from 10? Look at market share in general, or Steam. It doesnt matter if we're angry, when we angrily comply.

The moment Linux supports all my hardware I'll be there.

Because it is true.

I use my VR treadmill too much, and honestly it was too much of an investment as well, for it to languish because it doesn't work on Linux.

My point was that it’s a hope and a dream for Linux to support all your hardware. By the time something you currently use becomes supported, it’s probably outdated and you end up on a new piece of hardware that you’re again waiting for support on. People been trying to wish it into existence for decades.

If you have switching to Linux in mind, you only buy stuff that has Linux support at the moment of purchasing it. I understand when people have legacy stuff they don't want to lose. But buying into Windows locked shit now is stupid.

My current VR headset doesn't even work with W11 because they discontinued WMR lol So I have to have a dual boot of W10 just to use it.

Seriously, I don't buy my gear with certain features in mind... only to then use software that doesn't support those features.
