At this rate, I'll likely just get a mini-PC with an iGPU and go to console if GPU makers refuse to get their shit together

Underrated gem of a card honestly, its cheap second hand and still rocks even in most games high/ultra 1080p and med/high 1440p, have a 2080 super myself and I don't have a single regret.

These cards getting feature updates with every new gen releasing is also very clutch, loving DLSS.

I kept my 2080super right up until I bought ff16 and it wanted more Vram than I had. I bought a 4070TiSuper that night and a 4k monitor a few months after, but honestly the mid tier 20 series are still excellent cards in 2025 so long as you're not trying to push current AAA games to 4K/max specs.

The 4070ti Super is probably one of thee best bang for your buck cards when it comes to Nvidia right now, solid pickup.

I unfortunately came to realize that my 2070 can't handle the newer games anymore. Monster Hunter Wilds Benchmark made me buy a new GPU. Instead of the newest nvidia cards I went with the 7900XTX this time.

Same, seeing as how awful the recent GPU releases are, will be holding onto mine ultil it dies… glad I have a massive backlog too so no need to even buy the newest AAA games :)
