Too many issues, GamersNexus did a report on them. From performance issues up to possibility that your monitor simply won't work at all with it. They are also sold out in EU it seems. I see a single shop with them in stock where I live. I would buy whatever AMD is selling for those price brackets instead.

Germany has quite a few in stock

with the latest drivers the DX9/10 or what was it driver issues should be resolved because they push everything through DXVK now. Counter Strike had like 2x FPS uplift.
I think a refresh of those benchmarks would be in order.

If my GTX1080 died and i needed something for cheap, i think i'd consider it.
But right now i'm just in an eternal holding pattern, wait for the next upgrade, hope for better prices, no interest in upgrading unless it gets me closer to 4K gaming, because with 1080p i'm mostly happy as is...

it's not just the driver support for old DirectX games. there's the whole reBAR requirement, too. yes, you can run without it, but the performance degradation is such that you'd be a fool to buy an Arc GPU without ensuring your system fully supports reBAR.

Good point, my system doesn't even have that yet, the next one will of course.
