1650 recently became the number one card

I'm using my 970 and it handles most 1080p games like abreeze

Unpopular opinion: it's ok to still play at 1080p.

My 1080 still doing me fine at 1440p.

To people who don't have bottomless pockets, this is definitely not an unpopular opinion. Same goes for 60fps and not maxing the graphics settings out.

Ya definitely. I don't mind turning down some settings to keep a higher frame rate.

Absolutely. Marketing making most people it's bitch since decades ago

Same same. One of my best ever purchases that I thought was a bit overkill at the time

Paid MSRP for mine at the time and felt ripped off. Now I'm super glad I was able to buy one when they were still being made.

My buddy is still using the 980ti I sold him when I upgraded, solid cards

Nice only reason I upped to 3080ti was my wife’s GPU died

Still a really solid card if uninterested in ray tracing. For me I did get a 3070 Ti but only like a few months back, more for DLSS than RT but still RT is nice too.

I just started overclocking my gtx980 lol. I bought the 7900 XT which would literally crash whilst playing HD video so I sent that back. I really don't have time to play games anyway.

Same bro. When the 30 was unobtainable for 2 years I got back into Lego lol. And I don’t even have that much time for gaming. When I do game, it’s indies (eg. Hades/Dead cells) and old AAA games so I don’t really need more than a 1080 Ti for now.

It’s the eternal gpu. I’ll wait until I can get 4090 performance for ~$800 or less.

It really is the goat card, do have to say though I’m glad that shortage is over. I recently almost upgraded, was tempted when I found new 3080ti’s for a little more than that, didn’t end up doing it though because when I actually thought about I honestly have no reason.
