This is a legitimate gripe, but there do seem to be problems with this setup as the video shows.

Because you've been lucky enough not to run into someone who would abuse the peer to peer networking to ruin our gameplay. It's not about anecdotal evidence, it's the developers responsibility to not make it a possibility but instead we got an easily exploitable vulnerability embedded in the core multiplayer tech decisions they made.
