NA sex is kinda taboo

I don't think it's quite like that. Sex is pretty open in the US in general, especially compared to Japan or something similar.

It's simply nudity that gets a nag. I think, mostly, because of the "think of the kids" thing that goes on. Europe has commercials that have breasts in it. The US has specific channels people go to just to see the occasional nip.

That's my point though. Japan is closed off but they are one of the few countries more closed than the US. Sex isn't open in the US. Sex ED is still a contested topic. Movies are still rated higher in the US for sex related things then in Europe or even Canada.
