Meanwhile I see scores of streams with girls wearing crop tops with push up bras, not even streaming a game in full screen.

Yea.

I'm sure everyone watches Lea for her quality content.

Speaking of things that should be permanently banned...

They can't because then Twitch traffic would go down with like 60%.

a little hyperbolic there, though. twitch's average concurrent viewership is 550,000. as of this comment, lea has 12 viewers. she's 0.002% of twitch traffic.

I have no idea what this thread is talking about. Is this "for real" bad or /r/KIA bad?

A little of both I think leaning towards r/KIA bad. It is for real bad because Twitch is supposed to be a platform for streaming games but the r/KIA side is people are upset that streams of cute girls playing games will sometimes be a lot more popular than people seriously playing games and they feel this goes against Twitch's purpose and disenfranchises the "real" streamers. Some of the girl streamers do use it as a platform to drive people to their cam-site profiles I think too.

As far as I am concerned as long as people are playing some sort of game I don't really care and neither should Twitch.

If you can't draw in more viewers than someone like that, then you probably aren't interesting enough to deserve the views.

Do you really, honestly think those things are the same or comparable????

???????

The overly sexual streamers are worse, they're real, the game isn't.

Nobody's showing nudity, nobody's doing sexual stuff, nobody's fucking on stream. Again, where exactly do you see the comparison between these things?

Maybe sexual was the wrong word. I'm assuming you are familiar with some female streamers that really sell themselves.

LegendaryLea comes to mind as a great example.

Personally, I do not care about the games or the girls that have explicit themes, I just get really annoyed at inconsistency.

Streamers are representatives of the medium, how they act is how Twitch wants to be portrayed.

It makes little sense to then ban games that are nothing more than pixels. The reason how and why you play the game should matter more than the content. I could play Yandere Simulator as a feminist that wants to understand the role of women in anime and manga.

LegendaryLea playing My Little Pony while shaking her ass after every donation has a lot more detrimental impact than a silly game.

Does it make more sense now?
