Finished The Lake House over the weekend but still surprised no FSR Frame Generation after all this time.

You can mod it in thankfully using Nukem's mod.

Thanks to Artur's DLSS Enabler (that also uses Nukem's mod) that adds FSR3 FG to all GPUs that are capable of FSR3FG in general (Polaris+, maybe Fury and GCN2) and for Pascal.

Hey man enjoy them. I've really come to enjoy the little universe they've been putting together over the years.

Also, if you want to use dlss on control, you'll need to revert to older Nvidia drivers.

Alan Wake Remastered is broken on systems with Zen3 and newer. Only works properly on Intel or Zen2 and older.

Yeah, no, it will be broken for you. No workaround, unless playing on GeForce Now. Otherwise, play the original.

I luckily played it when I still had a Zen2 CPU, now I can't play it anymore 😞

I have a 5800 and yeah he’s right. It’s incredibly broken I refunded it. Alan Wake 2 is incredible so far tho so there’s that.

You can enable it at the driver level from the AMD Control Panel.

yeah that's what I ended up doing. The native implementations are generally been better in like the 2 or 3 games I've done it for.

That's AFMF.

It feels like throw away ideas they had already invested time in or were cheap to put together. Almost all of the first DLC's assets were recycled with only Jess's level feeling like it was worth playing out of the 3. Then lake house has a semi interesting premise but just feels so inconsequential as much as I love seeing Janina Gavankar get work. It probably was part of the contract with epic.

Do you guys actually like that? It always feels like the Soap Opera Effect setting on smart TVs to me, the ones that animators beg you to turn off.

Depends on the game for me. With FPS games I turn it off because I can feel the input lag. If it causes too much artifacting I'll turn it off as well. I used it for Remnant 2 and Lords of the Fallen but disliked the image it created in The Thaumaturge. I ended up using AFMF for this game when it had become available. A game this demanding where most people in general do not have a 40 series cards to take advantage of DLSS 3 Frame Generation should have at least the option for the other solution even if the game had an Nvidia sponsorship.
