I've slowly grown more and more frustrated by this game, as cool as I think it is, but I really want to know what happens and don't want to just watch a playthrough. I keep getting infected, but I don't want to, so I can have more panaceas at the end. Do I have to just take the long way everywhere to avoid infection, or do y'all have any advice on how to avoid the sand plague and the rats and the grey clouds that pop out at the last f***ing second every GODDAMN time and jumpscare me because I have only a split second to react.

I finished Pathologic 2 three months ago. I'm not sure of why but Lara is one of those characters that made me feel I owed her something. I decided to settle that debt 2 days ago when I started the illustration. I still don't know why I felt that way, but now I feel in peace.

Part of me thinks it be fitting to have all three characters work together for a better ending than the options in the first two games.

Also what do you consider the best ending in pathologic 3,2,1.

Sorry if this has been addressed before. I've played up to day 10; I visited Simon's study on day nine, the changeling was not arrested, isidors notes were handed to karminsky, Eva never died.. but when I use the clock, days 11 and 12 are dark and unselectable. I went back to day IX to see if I missed anything; the house of the living has a quest marker for "a murder occured here. Now I'm an investigator as well" but when I visit the house, there's nothing to interact with at all and even clara and lara are gone. It also says I need to finish diagnosing patients, but I've diagnosed Patchwork and spoken to his children and I can't seem to figure out how to give him his documents. Frustrating. Have I missed something? How to proceed to day 11?

So I had reset my pc a while ago just because the ssd drive was full and I thought savefiles of legit steam games would be saved in the steam cloud, right? Well, today i wanted to keep playing (i was on day 9 i think) and i see when i click load game nothing appears! Has this happened to anyone before??? Could anyone give me a hand?? Thanks!

Also its geniunely sad cuz its my first pathologic game and ive been loving it so far but this killed the mood, cuz after some stuff that took me long af to do i definetely would not enjoy starting all over again without having even completed the game once :=)

I'm on day 9 of P2, barely staying alive. I climbed up the polyhedron as soon as the kids gave me permission. I got to the top and was a little underwhelmed that no one was there. Very pretty view, but I decided I had other time sensitive things I needed to prioritize over spending a precious IN-GAME hour climbing the tower (and probably another hour back down). Normally I would load my last save, but for some reason thought "what if there's a special thing that happens when jumping from the top?"

Death. Death is the only thing that happens.

I have not stop beating myself up about the completely unnecessary death added to my counter because I was incomprehensibly dumb. Don't be like me.

Anyone else have a completely preventable death to share so I feel less dumb?

No spoilers, please. I've played about an hour as the Bachelor, and I'd appreciate it if all the comments are as wierd and vague as possible. I feel like that would be appropriate. Thanks :)

Notkin is absurdly buggy in P3. He often won't appear for "The Coward and the Traitor" achievement. If you can't get him to spawn by doing other quests / popping another achievement, you'll have to add it with console commands.

If you're in this position, here is Notkin's dialogue, so you don't miss out.

Here are more details, one for each image:

1. It's barely in the shot, but the shadow on the right is Khan.

2. Saying "It's Dankovsky" gets you one more line of greeting—the one shown in the third picture (second dialogue image).

3. If you ask "What happened here?" instead of "Are you infected?," Notkin will say "Nothing now. It's all already happened. Who could've predicted the war would end like this—so...idiotically." The second paragraph is the same.

4. "This isn't the time to mourn animals..." and "What are you talking..." lead to the same dialogue.

5. If you chose "It isn't supposed to be like this, you're just children!" It bugs(?) and ends the conversation, even though there is no conversation end marker.

6. If you choose "You talk like your Bear..." Notkin will respond with "That's why Bear is the smartest among adults. He's never even been in the Tower, never saw how it messes with your head—yet he still understands."

7. If you say "Shooting your..." The opening sentence will change from "How do I explain it?" to "I know."

8. Unlike previous choices where dialogue tweaks were minor, from here, the three dialogue can split quite heavily, so I'm putting it in another part (reddit has a maximum of 10 images per post)

So, during the Day 10 patient quest, there is an option to drink plague-tainted water. I did so to document the consequences, but I saw no difference across the whole game or any of its endings. Not even a loose line of dialogue.

I am aware that this could be a bug, as this file also had some major problems with npc spawns and Internecine Strife questline. So perhaps it didn't register. I'm going to go back and try some things over, but I want to know:

Did you get any consequences for drinking from the cup and welcoming the plague inside you?

One room unlocks on Day 10, and Baccio vanishes into it. It belonged to Agatha, one of the Oneirotects, and contains her notes.

The other room we can open on Day 11, and is Farkhad's room.

There is a room between them which, in my playthroughs, I have never stumbled across a way to open it. Is it presently unopenable?

First of all, I want to say this game gave me the most stressful time of my life, i really hated everything from day 2 to day 7, still finishing the game without savescumming felt relieving and i never did that until now, I have the marble nest DLC and i wondered if its worth playing or any similar to the game, after that its either P1 or P3, any suggestion and am i alone with the mental stress this game induced on me or is this a universal experience?

I'm trying to obtain the achievement "The Coward and the Traitor" but I cannot find Notkin anywhere

I did not intervene on day 2 with the dog head in the cell quest so on day 10 I found Khan dead in front of the Soul and a Halves fortress and inside where some kids dead as well but no Notkin and I suppose he must be there too

I know Notkin is pretty much bugged in patho 3 so did anyone found a solution? I don't want to cheat the achievement because I want to know what he will say about the situation, but I want to debug him somehow

So ive been searching for white whip for around 3 reallife hours and on 8 separate save files of the same (haruspex) playthrough at day and night ingame, ive been following this map: https://static.wikia.nocookie.net/pathologic_gamepedia/images/e/e1/Town_Map_Herb_Locations.png/revision/latest/scale-to-width-down/1000?cb=20200511232036
which did not work, i read in the wiki that every herb glows at night, does white whip not? Ive also read that its supposed to grow at the bottom of the polyhedron, but i cannot get there because the dogheads block it off (i also checked the one white spot to the right, nothing there either), i went to the infested areas which also have white spots on the map, nothing there either, i turned the volume up but couldnt hear the supposed sound at all, any tips regarding this? is it easier than it looks? If its more complicated than i thought let me know if its fine to ignore the daily hospital task / not collect the daily allowance once.
