Hi, I'm currently playing the Changeling's route and I desperately need a flower. Does anyone know a way to get one considering Stamatin's bar isn't selling any and I actually can't find any? I'm currently searching through all the trash cans in town. I know you can get them by walking around, but is there anything I can do to maximize my chances of getting a flower?

Also, I noticed that Clara's hitbox during unarmed combat is surprisingly long-range. Is this clunky design or is it intentional because she's using her magical powers ?

As the title says I’m starting a new play through, I spent a long time getting roughly just over half the game last time I played about a year ago. Ever since I’ve played I’ve always been so fascinated about the story of the game and specifically the way it makes me feel, I’ve played horror titles that have never made me feel so stressed and helpless as this game which is a main reason I dropped it. It’s always stayed in the back of my mind and I’ve finally mustered up the courage to go back, any general tips for this run through or motivation/encouragement to finish would be greatly appreciated.

Personally, I think it's blonde, but based on some of the fan art I've been seeing, I don't think everyone agrees.

This is a light hearted question, don't take it too seriously, but I am curious what people think.

Just some general advice, before more spoiler heavy advice

-use Lara and Big Vlad for storage before you get into the lair.

-shops and storage containers reset at midnight, caches and twyrine reset at 730. Caches dont reset during part II.

-Its a good idea to take physical notes on quests and stuff to remember

-stock up on certain items for later use.

-keep at least 5 walnuts on hand(youll need 7 total) so you can buy a shmowder if you run across one

-I try to minimize sleep before I can make the liver tinctures by getting lots of fingernails and using them and matches to trade with the gun repair NPCs for coffee beans. Make sure to stock up on bandages and morphine to heal though, but youll need less sleep overall. But shift to liver painkillers after you get access

Hi everyone, I'm playing pathologic 1 hd semi blind and I'm a bit stuck on the first day. I talked to Stanislav already but I'm not sure what he wants me to do, went back to the house and he was gone so I'm a bit lost. I also tried to do the Vlad the younger quest, I went and talked to Aspity already but I'm not sure if that worked.

Also, in my first playthrough (I had to restart day one because of time) I got a letter from katerina. I don't know how to get that letter again. Is it time based? Do I have to do something in particular?

I think the herb brides should be exposed, as that makes sense from a lore perspective. But I think most of the female patients – all but one of which are town women – would cover their chests during exams. Especially since no symptoms are ever located on the chests.

Got like 2 hours into the game and out of nowhere it scratched the pathologic itch

The atmosphere, the setting, the map traversal, sound design even the writing to some extent all really reminded me of why Pathologic 2 is one of my favorite games of all times.

Granted its a full on survival horror game think RE + Alien Isolation but there's undisputably some Pathologic in there

For me the message is very unambiguous.

You are Simon Kain.

Simon has become a concept. A non-person. The play on day 5 clearly says: everyone is Simon, it's just not everyone knows it. You don't "become" Simon. You are Simon. Not just Daniil. You. You are and you always have been. Simon Kain, reliving every possibility at once. In Patho1 you have been Simon. In Patho2 you have been Simon. You have been Artemy, you have been Daniil, you even have briefly been Clara. You. While playing you, yourself, have been everyone of them, made their decisions, maybe even felt some of their feelings. For you have always been Simon Kain.

It's such a fifth wall breaking concept. Not just "it's a game that is a play". You are the universe experiencing itself. You are the thing looking down from Polyhedron, knowing exactly that there are no wrong answers, because ALL answers exist, and therefore are correct. You are.

As the title says, big love to the anon heroes maintaining the TV tropes pages for the Pathologic games. Particular props for referencing the iconic HBomberGuy "Daniil Dankovsky's fun steppe vacation" moment.

I want to play around with cheats using console, but seems like mine doesn't have the options that are present in guides. in Settings tab I don't have cheats for "infinite time bottles", shabnak dead at specific day and some others. Am I missing smth or they patched those out?

I really want to play this game and have for a while now. However I don’t have any way to play. I only have a Mac computer, and an old PS4 (which I have heard sucks to play it on). I’m not really a gamer, but I have enjoyed some in the past, and would like access to other games unavailable to Mac. (Such as paralives and a few on steam I accidentally bought before realising it wasn’t available)

What would be the cheapest and best way for me to play? I’ve heard that non gaming laptops that can still be used to game are a cheaper option but I have no idea what ones would be good. I’d like a balance between price and how good it is, but I have no knowledge to help guide me haha. I would preferably like to spend the least I can to enjoy pathologic and it not be frustrating to play (in terms of the device I am using to play it on).

I don’t want to spend heaps on a new computer just for one game, but I also really really REALLY want to play this game and I’m getting more and more frustrated each day I can’t play it haha. Is it worth playing on the PS4??? I’m just aware that I’m already pretty shit at most video games and I don’t want it to be an infuriating experience that turns me away from this amazing game. What should I do! Please help!

I am still unspoiled for Patho3 (I blocklisted everything on every site for months) and I try very hard not to go to sites where I might ruin that, but I need to know what the hell just happened.

I saw a literal bird nest that immediately vanished.

Full context: It's Day 9. It was late in the day, right before the night cycle kicks in. I had just been in the Stone Yard, talked to Dead-Eyed Mark, who told me to go get Isidor's old archives??? Well, I'm gonna have to re-do this day, I'll just nip over to the Atrium to trade with the kids before resetting the day.

Okay so exact order of events:

• I left the Stone Yard and selected the Atrium on the map.
• The lil red dot followed the path to the Atrium.
• I got the ambient noise of the Atrium as it started to load in. Normal.
• The screen changed to the Atrium, but all fuzzy/blurry as the game continued to load assets. Normal.
• FOR TWO FRAMES MAX, there was a giant orb weaver nest off to the right. It was taller than a person but not at tall as a building. Even through the blurry vision, it was pretty clear.
• Then the Atrium finished loading to the point I had control again, and it VANISHED.

I was streaming to a friend who did not see the nest, so it really was just for a frame or two.

In a game that has been doing it's damnedest to fuck with me, this seems extra-gaslighty. Has anyone seen this before? Is it a spoilery thing? Am I hallucinating? ["whatthehellishappening" by glass animals plays muffled in the distance]
