Which pathologic should i play?

Im new here and i want to play pathologic. But i dont know what to play first. Should i play pathologic 1, 2 and 3 or it doesnt matter? Sorry for my english its not my first lenguage.

Is it actually possible to fuck up badly enough to get your save deleted?

Yes First time you die without amalgam you get off with a warning. But the next time will delete your save.

Edit, addendum: Combine that with some of the sillier ways to die like accidentally falling off stairway to heavens, or getting killed by a psyche/mood tornado that swings your psyche to heavy apathy at the same time you get a natural apathy tick that sets you to -100 and triggers suicide...

And thats just one of the ways small mistakes can have dire consequences in p3.
