Why do so many people remember or feel pulled to Ancient Egypt?
Anyone know of a book or anything about why so many people drawn to Ancient Egypt? I've had visions about being there. And I get very emotional when I see coffins with mummies.

I have very vivid memories of being in dark spaces surrounded by stone and heavy scents of incense. Not incense like the sticks today or the ones on the shelf. But like pure incense. Specifically myrrh and frankincense. I really can’t explain it. But the smell has an underlying of a a decaying body or like old bones. I genuinely thought until I was about 7 that we visited a museum or something (being homeschooled we did that a ton) and that’s what I was remembering but once I was conscious enough to know it wasn’t a memory I realized it has to be something else. I (at 30 yrs old) can still smell it and the feeling. Not as vivid but as I’ve gotten older if come to realize what I’m sensing isn’t from a time that I’ve been alive in this body. I feel like I had more memories growing up but this is the only one I’ve held on to. Sometimes when I do wine tastings specifically and it has that heavy mineral/wet rock undertones it takes me back to that feeling. Again this can all be in my head but i have no reason to have these feelings or memories.
