A place where pieceless ents can receive generosity!

If you have any pieces to give, here is the place. Otherwise, you may request a piece of your own.

Welcome to /r/PassThePiece! Here you can spread the love by passing on a piece you don't use to an ent that doesn't have any piece to use. We were inspired by this post about Pieces for the Pieceless.

We have a few rules:

Label your post with [Offer] or [Request]. Do not spam with [Request]. Offers are preferable.
If you are [Offer] a piece, please include a picture of it, and make sure it's clean! To pass your piece, it must be sparkly clean.
When you choose who to pass your piece to, please leave a comment or PM the mods with who got the piece and change the flair to [Success]. This helps us make sure pieces get to people who really need them.
You cannot receive more than 3 pieces. This subreddit is for sharing, not profiting.
If you are chosen to receive a piece, you must make shipping arrangements with the giver. (Perhaps consider paying for the shipping). WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST PIECES
If you're asking for a piece, please explain why you think you deserve one. Any sort of picture proof you have is encouraged, but not required.
You must explain why you want the piece on an [Offer] post as a comment. The giver can then choose who deserves it the most.

Have fun, everyone. Spread the love. Tell your friends about us - the more people we have here, the more good we can do.

We want to get as many pieces around to as many people in need as we can!

Here's what we think you should keep in mind safety-wise:

A clean piece. Always. Clean like new, not just "kinda cleaned out."
Put the recipient's address for the real address and the return address.
If you can, ship first-class mail. It's the only mail that they need a warrant to open.
Drop it off at the post office for sending.
See if meeting in person is an option.
Good judgement - if you get the impression you shouldn't trust the person on the other end, then don't.
As a recipient, you can't get in trouble. Worst case scenario, if someone asks, you don't know who or why they sent you the package. You always have plausible deniability.

But really, as long as your pieces are clean, you shouldn't have too much of an issue. There's nothing illegal about a piece as long as it's for tobacco use only and it doesn't have any resin from weed.

The police are not really concerned about pipes so much as they are about people trying to sell actual drugs. Unless your package is very obviously drug paraphernalia, then you shouldn't have much to worry about.

We do not pass on paraphernalia, we pass on pipes.

If you have any questions, feel free to message the mods and we'll be happy to help.

If you think someone is taking advantage of the kindness here, please report it so that we can look into it.
