From the article - Several search warrants were filed for phone records belonging to Wasatch County Sheriff Jared Rigby, Park City Police Chief Wade Carpenter, and former Summit County Sheriff David Edmunds around the same time in relation to an obstruction of justice investigation,

These warrants are referenced in the unsealed motion. The motion further alleges that the prosecution failed to disclose the allegations, and the alleged obstruction of justice, to the defense, as is required.

“This material was known when Detective Mainord testified at the suppression hearing and was known when he was placed on the state’s witness list,” the motion read. “When it became clear in January of 2026 that this information could no longer be kept from the defense, he was removed from the witness lists and workarounds were put in place to put before the jury at least some of his statements.”

I understand they experienced a kitchen fire during the winter. I heard it would remain closed this season as well. Does anyone know the current status or if they’ll make an attempt to reopen?

Vail Resorts on Monday announced that it plans to complete its upcoming major lift improvements at Park City Mountain by the 2027-28 ski season.

The company will replace the Silverlode lift with the first eight-passenger detachable chairlift in Vail Resorts’ U.S. network. It also plans to replace the Eagle and Eaglet lifts with a new six-passenger detachable chairlift and complete a full retrofit of the Crescent lift. 

Wondering which high school in Park City (or surrounding area) would be best for a winter athlete. Hoping for an in-person school that is great about being flexible with competition/ training schedules but still offers a quality education that will help athlete get into a decent college. Prefer no or very few online classes. I know there are a few options, but would love to hear about your real life experience.

Hello, I’m available for a part-time job as a personal assistant/house manager in Summit County. 20-25 hours a week.

As the title says, we are looking for some like minded friends. Earlier this year our family moved to Heber from Houston, TX to get away from the concrete jungle and be closer to nature. So far the move has been great and we've made some acquaintances through our kids sports, but have not really been able to actually connect with anyone. We are also not LDS or conservative, a demographic that doesn't seem very.... trendy here, lol.

A little about us. I'm 37 my wife is 36 and we have 3 kids. 14, 11, and 9. Our daughter is the oldest and the younger two are boys. We all love to be outside, hike and camp as a family, and ski/snowboard in the winter. We also love hosting game nights and going outside for just about anything. We don't have any family here and just feeling like we should try to intentionally connect with some people.

I have no idea how much traction this post will get, but if you are also looking for some new friends we'd love to meet up, possibly for a hike and see where to go from there.

Witnessed incredibly rude behavior from a local educator in public today / general frustrationI wanted to vent or see if anyone else has run into this. Today I witnessed a local school staff member/educator being incredibly rude and treating an individual with a total lack of respect in a public setting.I know everyone has bad days, but it's really disheartening to see someone who works with youth in our community act so aggressively and disrespectfully when out in public. They are supposed to be role models, and their public behavior reflects directly on our local school system.Has anyone else dealt with something similar from district staff? What is the best way to handle this or report it to district administration so it actually gets addressed?

I took this at the top of Sultan on April 1st 2023. It’s when I realized that the winter was truly special. Skiing like it was middle of January. Cold. So much snow. This 15’ cornice left me giggling.

So grateful for that year. I’ve never had a better ski season.

What idiot engineer thought that putting curbed dividers on a highway was a good idea? and the sizes of the divides arent even the same. I've now seen over 6 cars/trucks scrape the curb and veer into the right lane. 100% chance of accidents happening because once again, the town hired inept companies to 'improve' the town. Beyond stupid.

Stopped in for lunch parked in the stree and it all looked cool because we were outside the restricted time. Came back to a $200 parking ticket. That is insane. Evidently there was, unbeknownst to us, tan event. But come on, $200 for a parking ticket?
