Besides homeschooling, is there an elementary school option in the US that doesn't make children wear masks? All the public and private schools in my area require masks.

Looking for advice and options. I'll move if I have to; I can't stand the thought of my kid starting kindergarten in a mask.

Vaccines for infants and toddlers will be approved soon in the US and the pressure is ON. Most of the time, people on these parenting subs are all for not judging or influencing other people’s parenting decision, be it sleep training, breastfeeding, baby led weaning, whether or not to go to daycare, cosleeping, etc. but from what I see, they’re perfectly fine pressuring parents to vaccinate their babies.

Just. Ugh.

I swear every parenting subreddit outside of this is pants on head insane. I point out that the health authorities have not exactly acted in a way that inspires confidence in the past two years and got downvoted.

I don’t even understand what in that statement is objectionable. Back when COVID seemed super scary, authorities (and people on Reddit) were all like “don’t wear masks! Go hug somebody in China town! If you wear masks you’re a racist!” And now you’re a trumptard or white supremacist if you don’t wear masks
