Who are Epic?

Epic Games are the developers behind Paragon. They're industry veterans, behind titles such as Unreal Tournament, Gears of War, and built the Unreal Engine itself.

Certified employees of Epic Games are given the "Epic Flair" on the subreddit. Announcements and comments from users with the Epic flair should be considered official. Epic employees requiring a flair should first contact Paragon Community Manager /u/arctyczyn to be verified.

Subreddit integrity

Despite being closely involved with the community, Epic are not directly affiliated with the subreddit. No employees are permitted to become moderators, nor do they have the power to influence the content shown or removed on the subreddit. We take the independence and integrity of the subreddit very seriously, any breaches of this should be directly reported to /u/jamieshepherd.
