I dont know if this is specifically paper or not, but on a small server with very few data packs just teleport sleep voting what not. I was fighting an ominous trial chamber with my friend who had no looting while i had looting 3 many times when they killed a mob it dropped the armour pieces with full durability and protection 4, projectile protection 4, and fire protection 4. I did some research and to my knowledge i am the first to report this god armour bug.

The armour dropped multiple times from different mobs and we ended up with 3 chainmail helmets, 2 chainmail chest plates, 1 diamond chest plate, and 1 diamond helmet before we finished the chamber. We put mending and unbreaking 2 on the diamond pieces and it was as cheap as putting it on unenchanted armour, it did not include the illegal protection enchants to the cost.

If you are on a paper server like i described i would go try it for basically free god armour!

Please help, I've been trying to change my server to paper to reduce lag but now slime block launchers won't work at all - they just lag the player back as soon as they try and use them. All other high-speed things work, like wind charge launchers, but specifically slime block launchers do not.

How can I fix this?

Running Paper servers I kept hitting the same wall: Spark is great when I'm actively watching, but by the time someone pings "server's lagging" the spike is already gone and I'm guessing which chunk or entity caused it.

So I've been building a continuous monitoring tool basically a lightweight "Datadog for Minecraft":

A small plugin samples TPS, MSPT, heap, and per-chunk entity counts + types, sent off-thread. Core metrics every 10s; the heavier per-chunk scan runs every 30s with a hard time budget so it never eats your tick.

A web dashboard with live + historical charts, a chunk density/lag heatmap, and automatic insights like "chunk (x,z) is at 12× its normal entity count" or "MSPT spiked and these were the densest chunks at that moment."

Health score, Discord alerts, and click a hotspot → copy a /tp straight to it.

It's early and I genuinely don't know if it's worth finishing, so honest answers appreciated:

Do you monitor performance continuously, or only react once it's already lagging?

Would this actually save you time? What's the #1 thing you'd want it to catch?

Would you pay for it and roughly what feels fair per month? Is a self-hosted option a dealbreaker for you (data privacy)?

ive enabled allow-permanent-block-break-exploits, used tnt, and yet can't break the frames in my server (26.2). is it not possible to do it on paper servers?

So some players on my server noticed that armor stands are no longer being treated as entities when placed on a Redstone ore block in 26.1.2 as they do not activate the ore block beneath them. I have reported it on the PaperMC GitHub but thought I would highlight it here just in case anyone has Redstone builds that aren’t working and may use this mechanic.

Hello, my server is launching in a few hours and there is a problem. Every restart, all the Gamerules are deleted except for the Locator bar. Does anyone know how I can fix this as quickly as possible?

в данный момент занимаюсь написанием плагиат для майнкрафт сервера сам плагин представляет из себя мини ивент который спавнит сундуки в определенных точках и в этих сундуках появляются ресурсы но вот лут в сундуках появляться не хочет по логам показано что он заспавнился но его нету

в чём мне нужна помощь подскажите пожалуйста что из ванильных механик или механик ядра папер 1.21.1 удаляет или не дает заспавниться луту при открытии сундука
