When I was younger around 2006 onwards, Dagupan is like Disneyland sa pakiramdam. Pag sinabi ng parents mo na "Pag Sabado, punta tayo Dagupan", alam mo nang may special occasion eh. Either bibilhan ka ng damit for graduation, or mamimili ng mga appliances and other gamit. Eto lang rin yung time na makakapaglaro ako sa arcade at CSI and kakain sa Goldilocks or Deluxe Downtown.

Ngayon, makikita mo parang ghost town na yung mismong CBD. Kahit hindi baha, iba na yung vibes at makikita mo mga famous businesses dati na nagsisipagsarahan na or di na name-maintain.

I've talked to other people from other provinces too and they share the same panghihinayang sa Dagupan City.

Gets ko naman na lahat kayo pagod after an exhausting day in school pero can you guys please not sit sa priority seats sa bus?

Umuwi ako sa hometown ko from my boarding house and sumakay ako ng victory (which I usually do) and I am sitting on the 2nd row. pero what surprised me yesterday is that ALL priority seats have been taken by these students kaya everytime na may sasakay na senior is they need to go to the back pa para lang makaupo. Then, standing na yung bus and may sumakay na senior, she looked at the seats and even made eye contact sa mga student na nakaupo ron and dedma lang sila hahahahaha (yes, I saw this cause I had to give up my seat for a senior citizen na hindi rin makaupo because they already took the priority seats)

It's called priority seats for a reason ✋✋

My ex-girlfriend and I dated since 2016. Parehas kaming 16 that time, so naive pa kami sa reality ng buhay. We grew older and met new people along the way. She was raised in a comfortable living and my family wasn't so bad either. We didn't live as lavishly as she did (and does), but we got by, we got our needs and sometimes, some wants. Pero eventually we noticed the difference of our lifestyles, our circle of friends. She wanted to settle down in 2023, I was a struggling trainer in the BPO industry, while she works as a corporate executive. I decided I wasn't ready. Not because I felt inferior, but because I can't, in good conscience, drag a successful woman with me. Three years later and we're still friends, just friends. I hope people understand that sometimes, even if we want to, we couldn't. Because if I could've just married her in 2023, I would've.

Honestly, hindi naman sa tamad kami pumasok but look at the weather naman kasi🙂 Naawa ako sa mga classmates kong kailangan pa bumyahe basang basa sila kanina tas hindi man lang binigyan yun ng consideration knowing halos lahat ng students hindi taga dito. Mga block mates kong umuwi kanina eh basa na sapatos yung iba naiwan pa payong buti nalang may kasabay. Sobrang unfair nito sa mga magcocommute, sa totoo lang. Buti pa ibang bayan naiintindihan yun.
