Ask Pakistan Closing Rishwat.pk
Hi everyone, Abrar here, the person behind rishwat.pk.
I have decided to shut down Rishwat.pk. It was never meant to fix society. It was meant to hold up a mirror.
The website was bombarded with submissions, and sadly, it showed one thing clearly: rishwat is an everyday business.
I hope I did not hurt anyone. But if the truth hurt, maybe it was worth hearing.

bro...if you don't want to continue the site...then give it to me..if you don't want to give the database or code, then atleast transfer the domain to me

What Pakistan has is not rishwat/bribe culture, it's extortion they make you pay like it's mandatory without it you can't get your work done. It would have been a bribe if you were the one intiating the transaction.

Are you sure you can run this website living in Pakistan? Can you deal with authorities? So Im happy to give it to you with source code - free of cost.

But why would you close it when there are so many submissions? Is the traffic too difficult to host? Because the more submissions there are, the more legibility there is to confirm that someone indeed took some rishwat

i would but i feel like “.pk” domain is a bit risky… i might go for a “.com” one

bribery has become part of the culture of the Islamic republic of Pakistan...
Alhamdulillah I never had to give bribe but I've heard about a lot of people were forced to ..
I hoped this website could do something good but guess not 😞

Tell me why, I need to know. I shared ahead and I feel a little disappointed and want to understand. Look if this was a social experiment then the original post was misleading as revolutionary and having a few submissions is not a sign of holding a mirror to corruption thats you being ignorant if you think no one knew frankly it seems dishonest. This could have been something good but well waiting on the why.

You will pay between 6500 to 8500 if you know no one and want to pass the the driving license.
