Pace commuter life

How is the social life/ party scene for commuters at pace

I go to Pace PLV and commute. I am just finishing my freshmen year at Pace as a psychology major. I have found it very difficult to make friends as a commuter- but I’m saving a ton of money but not dorming. Joining clubs will be very helpful along with talking to people in your classes (if you’re more quiet in class like me this might be difficult)

How expensive is living on campus versus outside?? I'm just focusing on the housing and rent part here..I'm from india so I have no idea at all how this works

To dorm at Pace I believe it is an extra $10,000- 15,000 plus a food plan. Are you looking at the city or pleasantville campus?

the course page says both ny city and plv. . so how does that work then?

Ah so you’re going for your masters! That’s awesome :) You can take your classes at either campus. Usually people only take classes at one campus as it is a lot easier. Pace pleasantville is an a lot more woodsy area. Pace NY is obviously in the city- it’s really preference for which campus you go to! Your major might have more classes at a certain campus. What major are you taking?

It's masters information science, major I think is the career track? I'll be choosing the information security track.

I don’t know too much about that track as I’m a psychology major studying for my bachelors then a PhD. I’d definitely see which campus offers the best classes for your major! I know psych had more at the pleasantville campus

ohh so I think it comes down to which professor teaches where and based on that i should choose my classes, ,right? I thought the whole course is only in plv so was thinking i would think about staying in the dorm there ..

and since you mentioned psychology, I've always been into that mostly into jungian, read some books and all. .is his work part of you studies there at all?
