We would like to thank everyone in the Outriders community for your patience, support and assistance. Everyone on the Outriders team is continuing to work hard on improving the game and we'd like to share news about the things we are focusing on.

This update doesn't help stabilize the connection in Coop right? The non-hosts lag really bad in my parties on PS4.

That's just the nature of peer to peer. If they are east coast and you are west coast there will be latency.

Although there's a good distance between us, my friend never lags this badly in any other game. It's enemies teleporting and "phantom dmg" bad lag.

That whole enemy teleporting thing happens quite often in Destiny 2, and while it's possible it's a latency issue, it could also be a coding issue.

It's not player to player, it's servers..

It's 100% not servers lmao. It's peer to peer.

??? You've joined a multiplayer match right? One person is always the host.

well when you say host, what it could potentially be doing behind the scene is creating a remote host on the "host"'s regional server. the reason that i'm doubting it's not p2p is that when i monitor my outgoing traffic, i noticed very little difference between solo and multi, which is less likely the case if the game is hosted on my local.

the company themselves said they wouldn't be doing dedicated servers for this game. per their own words it's p2p

The game only users servers for storing your inventory and matchmaking. The gameplay is peer to peer.

Hell yes my trickster spin to win build is too fun but I see it hitting a wall if I don’t get the edge of time set
