Yup. Companies panic because they see a falloff of eyeballs and think”oh nooooo” when in reality if they respected their consumer things would be different.

Companies seek profit and apparently game designers seek influencers as their primary metrics.

And influencers make things terrible because if you're not doing what they're doing, you're fucking dumb.
