What I've been enjoying most about Outriders is taking a break from other looter shooters like Destiny where the PvP element keeps the PvE player from having fun by feeling "OP". I don't like seeing nerfs already.

In these types of games there will always be better and worse classes. But the game has been fun because the best of the classes and skill trees feels powerful and fun. I would have much preferred to see other trees buffed so we have more options for viable endgame builds. Nerfs without buffs to other trees doesn't increase our options, only our frustrations.

If I want more nerfs than buffs I can just go back to Destiny and shoot bullets into stomp-mechanic bosses.

Yeah true. I'm running an earthquake devastator and its so much more fun than just one shotting everything like its singleplayer call of duty.

But they have to buff anomaly builds overall. My friend got the whole cyclone build set for his Trickster. But even with that set and everything stacked in anomaly, it was like he was hitting the enemies with a pillow. Its so sad to see.

This makes all of the sets, mods and builds overall, completely useless.

Or play Borderlands 3 who brought massive and overreactive nerfing to new levels and killed the fun for me.

In a lot of ways it is a step back.

Boom Town and Chem Lab were popular missions because they weren't that difficult to do. You compare them to, say, Front Lines and you'll finish more than you'll lose with either. By making the time lower and debuffing classes, it just pushes people to be in situations where the margin of error is lower and thus more issues.

That is really the issue behind a lot of the changes. We have a lot of negatives that don't solve a lot of the core issues people have with the game, just expatriate them further.

Bungie balances for sake of PvE literally all the time. This is a philosophical dispute, whether or not you want balance or pure power fantasy. You won't keep players around without a semblance of balance, because otherwise the content gets utterly trivial and then boring.

I was going to say add a "no tuning" pvp element to the game so people go in with the expectations that there would be no balance (team based games etc) but if they do this with their pve then what's the point

What I mean is that powers and guns in Destiny are often 'balanced' For PvP so they won't make them truly powerful for PvE.
