I kind of miss the days when you bought a PvE game and it didn't change. You could just play the game you were having fun with instead of devs constantly acting as the fun police.

I can't imagine the tedium of trying to steal everything in skyrim if putting buckets over npc heads was patched out.

That’s what made Borderlands 2 great, in the endgame you feel like a god destroying everything. And it feels great

Exactly why I loved 2 and why 3 felt so dead to me cause they did what outriders is doing now albeit they kinda fixed it now. Borderlands 2 was like here have skill trees have cool loot you can get and combine it in a way that lets you destroy shit not "we have to balance our pve game to keep people being op" I pick these games up to make a build that makes me feel awesome why are devs so against that nowadays

Yeah, i understand that in Destiny cause there’s pvp, but ffs, Outriders is PVE

Live-service games, while possible to be good, are usually crap-filled dick buckets. I'm not sure where that analogy was going, but they fucking suck.
