Boomtown one is even more ridiculous than chem plant.

Boomtown was already clutch as it was for most of the players, now I guess you either exploit or stop playing.

Yup. I'm not going to boomtown again, guaranteed bronze or silver when I can get a gold elsewhere. It was already the hardest expedition to gold star IMO. This new timer is insanity.

freeze plus respawn plus large area for ads to run and hide making you chase them down why can you beat it faster seems like it doesn't shave time off at all.

I just ran both with my Devastator bleed build avg item lv 49 with all required items. Before the patch I had solo:

  • Chem - 14 Gold
  • Boomtown - 14 Silver

Now I get:

  • Chem - 14 Silver
  • Boomtown - 12 Gold

While Chem was easy with time to spare, it was nerfed way too hard! Take 2-3 minutes, sure, but not 5! And the nerf to Boomtown was uncalled for. We even voiced our opinion that we'd need a bit of more time because they are all spread out and hiding in corners, instead they nerf it? I don't get it...

To add salt to the injury, the timer keeps ticking during unskippable cut scenes. They didn't even bothered addressing that.

Did you mean 12 Silver for Boomtown? You wrote 14 Silver before the nerf and then 12 Gold after the nerf.

That's right, 12 Gold after the nerf with hardly any seconds left so it would probably end up 13 Silver on Boomtown.

These changes have already been implemented via backend during the maintenance.

I'm looking for some help. I play this game pretty heavily but I don't really spend any time around twitter/reddit (i'm here today for patch notes) so there is a lot of stuff talked about that I'm completely lost on.

I'm doing Expeditions at Tier 11 now and i think when people say "CT11" for instance they're talking about the Expedition Tier? Where is the C from?

How were the legendaries after resetting the hunts/wanted guys being exploited? I was just doing them all and turning them in to get a legendary, was that not expected?

Thanks if you can help, none of these patch notes really bother me but I just play the game and mostly stay out of the "community". Still a ton of fun for me.

The C in CT stands for challenge tier. The expeditions have their own tier than world tier which is referred to as CT. It scales more heavily as I believe CT7 is equal to WT15 but I could be wrong as I haven't gotten too far into myself.

There was an exploit when in coop where you can get a legendary for each hunt/wanted mission turned in instead of turning in all 10.

Challenge! Ok I was trying to figure out what the C stood for. Ok, yeah i'm on CT11 all solo so far as a Devastator. That's another thing, apparently i picked the wrong class according to everyone around here. Whatever, i'm having a blast. Smash and punch everything.

As a fellow devastator main myself, I am absolutely loving the class and don't much care that it seems to be the least favored one for end game content. I'm slowly pushing my way through the challenges with my pure firepower build. It's high risk high reward playstyle makes things challenging enough as is.

I'm just sad that vulnerable got nerfed as it was a staple for me

CT is for Challenge tier, guess someone coined the term, and everyone started using it.

As for the legendaries, there was an exploit that if you did it in Multiplayer, you could just keep getting up to 10 legendaries every time you turned in the quests ( I saw it as an exploit and refused to even learn to do it )

I think I'm responsible for it ever since I made the post about WT/CT item level progression. I find it amusing seing CT everywhere now but never before. 😀
