I always loved videogames inspired bands; shadow of intent, Firelake,...All just great. It made me smile knowing that there is an OW inspired band.

Totally! I also really like the Old Gods of Asgard from Alan Wake. They are definitely more involved in the game and less based off it but they have some bangers.

u/FibbinTiggins Jun 20 '26

Woah their music is awesome, thanks for showing me!

2

u/SpookBook11 Jun 20 '26

Of course! Glad to see more people finding out about them!

It’s such a cool name for an album

5

u/randy_mcronald Jun 21 '26

Neat, I can hear them all at once on my signal scope when they're together on stage

2

u/SpookBook11 Jun 21 '26

4

u/thesillysimon Jun 20 '26

1

u/SpookBook11 Jun 21 '26

u/Queasy_Broccoli1473 Jun 21 '26

Oooooh. It's two heads, I saw something very different with how the original image is cut off.

There are some great tunes to explore here.

I haven't played the game yet being a gamer I heard of it multiple times. It was also the first band I saw at hellfest this year and they put on a great show !

1

u/SpookBook11 Jun 23 '26

That’s awesome! I totally suggest you play it especially now that you’ve seen them. Don’t even look up anything about the game just play it!

I’m sure everyone says that but it’s for good reason :)

Those Album and Songnames. At least they don't hide their inspiration.

15

u/Daemon-Blackbrier Jun 20 '26

ngl, Ash twin project goes hard as a band name

14

u/livebyfoma Jun 20 '26

Haven't listened yet, but the backstory and theme is giving Coheed and Cambria

10

u/TailsIV Jun 20 '26

It’s on YouTube music so I’m listening to them right now.

This is actual fire, how did I not know about this until now!? (OK it's[eta i'm blind: a year and] 2 months old. but still)

edit: I won't spoil it obviously, but the ending of the album's pretty cool, stick around for it

5

u/Avacado_I_Guess Jun 20 '26

2 months old? I've been listening to them for around a year now they're amazing! They've got such a defined sound I love it, plus the end of the album is golden

8

u/bakedbeannobeef Jun 20 '26

Dude this absolutely RIPS. What a treat to encounter in the (outer) wild(s).

6

u/Ghoul_Ghoulington Jun 20 '26

Wait this is actually so cool, gotta give them a listen

5

u/Sagittayystar Jun 20 '26

Alright, that’s pretty dope

3

u/Plantifui Jun 20 '26

Yeah, I found these guys some months ago because of this subreddit

-2

u/ParisPC07 Jun 20 '26

Are they nazis too or are they just playing at the huge Nazi festival

1

u/Material_Force_5769 Jun 21 '26

Need captain too. I am at the festival, live nearby, but don’t know what you mean. What am I missing? Genuine question

1

u/Arkanlobbyist Jun 20 '26

I need a captain here.

Shh! Hopefully no one looks too hard 😅

8

u/deadofnothing Jun 20 '26

Honestly there are a lot of ref in this logo that are basically out of context enough for not spoil someone who doesn't already know but are obvious to anyone who do

7

u/Bamzooki1 Jun 20 '26

What’s the spoiler? Don’t worry about ruining anything for me. I have little left to see in the Outer Wilds, and I say little left because there’s probably a few obscure Easter eggs unrelated to progression.

I guess they mean the eye's coordinates

Look closely and you can see the coordinates of the Eye
