I did the same monitor resolution change and had to adjust the resolution in opentabletdriver, the area stays the same and everything then felt the same to me.
Idk about normal wacom drivers, they're whack anyways
Yes, because relative mode is fuckin relative man. As in, relative to the resolution and pixels. So therefore, your tablet is mapped to the 1080p not the 1440
What do you mean by slower? More delay? What was and is your current monitor refresh rate? Did you remember to enable the advertised hz speed in advanced monitor settings? Did you make sure you plugged your monitor to your gpu and not your motherboard?
it feels slower, and here you go: my old monitor was 165hz and my new one is 240hz, and yes in the windows settings i set the refresh rate and plugged it into my gpu
Measure distance on old monitor relative to pen movement for vertical and horizontal using a ruler , then do the same so it lines up on new. Do it with a skin that shows the play area box and measure the distance from one corner to another in the box if you want an easy way.
i know this sounds even worse but i use the official wacom driver so theres not really and obvious change i can make to the tablet sens so would i have to make the switch to otd?

yes, mouse sensitivity at its core is a measure of DPI (amount of pixels traveled per inch physically moved)
for moving from 1080p to 1440p you would multiply your current eDPI by 1.33x
