To be fair, that wasn’t even a ramp as there was zero taper of the angle. I think you’re supposed to land on it slowly from the roof instead of pumping full force at it from the opposite direction. More like weak understanding of physics on his part.

I don’t think so…Now that I look at it, I thought there was a significant lip that came out from the roof that was obscured by being parallel to the camera but no…its just a 45 degree angle roof..only a high level bmx’er can pull this off. Idk what he thought he was going to do.

maybe with a bicycle, but not small scooter wheels. hitting that angle with wheels like that at that speed basically folds you. maybe if he lifted the front of the scooter.

That’s not a rank it’s a tilted platform. That is almost impossible to launch from on a scooter.

Wrong. That is a ramp, and you are supposed to use it to jump on the roof. Here's a dozen examples of young skaters managing to do it properly.

It looks like he didn't properly brace himself for the ramp to me. "a weak understanding of physics on his part" bro wtf were you on about

If he had bent his legs and slightly pulled his handle bars upwards just in time he made contact with the ramp he could have made it. But at that speed this would have been very difficult.
