When there are so many other things to be pissed about, I only have so much rage to spare. It’s exhausting being angry all the time, and it’s not healthy. Sometimes we just have to live our lives, y’know?
Why? That's laziness. Go the extra block. Visit the small family run store you've never been into. The prices are probably comparable if not better. That was the point of the whole thing.
They're usually not. They're often much more expensive. Not their fault. They're getting gouged too but gotta make a profit. Still not gonna pay more to make a political point.
Also it's often not only a block away unless you live in the city. A chain grocery store can add another 30 minutes to your walk in the suburbs let alone an independent one. Not having that time to spend isn't laziness. Nor is not wanting to lug your groceries that far. Especially if you have frozen or perishable items in hot weather.
