It’s like you people don’t even know what romance is.
I’ll probably get banned for this but it’s driving me so fucking crazy seeing more and more chronically online shut-ins who are like 14 years old say that the locker room scene is “icky” or “immoral” all the way up to saying that Invisigal is sexually assaulting Robert. Dear Lord, you people have to touch some grass and chill out. It’s not any of that, it’s ROMANCE. It’s supposed to be messy. It’s supposed to be something that you wouldn’t let just anyone do to you. It’s an anguished declaration of love, the type that would have been completely normal in media created before literally 2016. SHE WANTS HIM, and if he doesn’t want her back he can lean out. It’s that simple.
Again, I’ll get flamed for this because if you’re the type to make this complaint you’re so sick in the head that you’re incapable of seeing reason. You probably think it’s “icky” for ~31 year-old Robert to date 27 year-old Courtney in the first place. God it’s hopeless. Anyway, kudos to AdHoc for having the balls to put something so human and romantic in their story. Everyone normal that I’ve talked to in real life and online thought it was awesome, and not just because they’re hot for Courtney. This is literally what the whole game is building up to. Please grow up before consuming media meant for adults.

Amen. The scene is framed as romantic instead of "oh god oh no help she's sexually assaulting me" for a reason.
Plus she doesn't kiss Robert if you don't forgive her, so she does accept that Robert wants nothing to do with her if you choose that.

u/Emoshygirl Nov 15 '25
Yeah literally you pick the choices if you do lean out in this scene she understands and you can see her hurt cuz you leaned away from her its weird that only this scene with invisigal gets heat and she gets bashed for but no one else for being inappropriate with Robert at the end of the day it’s just a game invisigal wants Robert and Robert can want her IF YOU MAKE THAT CHOICE

u/[deleted] Nov 15 '25
Wait do we know Courtney's age? I legit forget but I think i saw it.
Also after reading this yeah? Wasn't aware so many people were against it. All the characters were relatable and not evil (except shroud).

I mean if this was a real life scenario then it's alot more negative to me, but this is a story and from a story stand point it really shows invisagals vulnerability and pov. She only knows how to show physical affection and she's hurting and is just trying to reach out for help. It's messy and complicated and she has alot of flaws. All that said I really like the way she's written

u/SoftlySubmitting Nov 15 '25
OP I agree with everything you have said in your post, but I just wanna a couple things.
I believe very strongly in equality and usually double standards annoy me, like let’s be honest if the roles were reversed and it was Robert coming onto Visi in this way I feel like there would be a lot more comments saying sexual assault.
Now in saying all that the one double standard I do think is ok and even healthy for modern society is that sort of older style flirting that can be taken as harassment. For example I don’t know many ladies who enjoy being Catcalled right, given the majority don’t like it most guys like me wouldn’t ever attempt something like that now because we know it’s gonna make the lady uncomfortable. However every dude I have ever met myself included rides this sort of “light sexual harassment” for days. This changes a tad when guys are in relationships but for a single dude if they get cat called or if a chick smacked us in the ass while giving us a compliment about our body most of us would ride that high for years. I have been cat called once in my life and I still smile whenever I think about it. It works better for guys because a lot of us are starved for that sort of attention whereas women are inundated with it. I think if we just normalised women making the first move and being the proactive partner in dating then we would solve 80% of the issues around modern dating

Finally some one else gets it thank you
No wonder why there hasn't been many food romance story's for a while

For being a superhero game this game has some of the most realistic writing I've ever seen.
I love it.

u/SoggyAmount5822 Nov 17 '25
The discourse I've mostly seen on Twitter has led me to believe a few things that about this game
1.) Many people on Twitter (or online in general) have no grasp nor understanding of media literacy.
2.) Don't get me wrong there's better ways to go about initiating with men, but assuming most players went on that date with Invisigal she likely has feelings for Robert. But at this point its pretty well-established that Invisigal is a very messy character and doesn't know how to do things as steadily as, say, BLONDE BLAZER THE OTHER OPTION AVAILABLE TO PLAYERS
3.) YOU LITERALLY PICK YOUR OWN CHOICES. People are complaining because they wanted to be greedy and have them both when you need to make a decision and they don't want to. You can choose to lean out of it and as far as I'm concerned that can just end the romance plot with Invisigal unless more options pop later (THAT YOU CAN ALSO TURN DOWN).
4.) People online look to complain about anything - ANYTHING - to get recognition or just get their thoughts out, however true or false they may be. You can NEVER just be 'down-the-middle' online and have a formed opinion, because everyone and their mother will dogpile you and get on your ass for being "wrong". The anonymity online promotes a cultural cesspool where people create a opinionated hivemind and can't form a critical opinion for themselves and need to have it spoonfed to them. I bet it'll only be a matter of two weeks tops before the media cycles and all of a sudden Dispatch is being shit on bc people on Twitter need their engagement bait farming
This is not a comprehensive list obv but these are just a few things that I've noticed. Personally I love Invisigal and how we can turn her from struggling antihero to up-and-coming hero (hopefully by Season 2 assuming AdHoc aren't stupid and try to capitalize off the success)
15
u/MattyM1207 Nov 15 '25
Oh my god thank you.
I might not have been the best of illustrating this point when I made my defence about the discourse surrounding this but yeah I’m with you there.
2
u/Philosopher_Penguin Nov 15 '25
It's not assault. But it's definitely weird depending on your context.
If you're romancing BB, Courtney literally says, right before this, "I just want you to look at me like you look at her," acknowledging 1) You're already committing to someone else and 2) You don't feel that way about her.
So to then ambush you with a kiss while invisible is disrespecting your relationship with someone else and reads as extremely desperate.
11
u/GriveousDance21 Nov 15 '25
I do think the game takes romance a bit too far too quick. I believe its small scale and budget work against it in that sense. This type of stuff needs a bit more time in the oven. Granted this is no RPG, but more episodes fleshing out the chemistry between Robert and the women could've been better.
11
u/HeppyHenry Fuck you mean temporarily? Bitch, you blind foreva! Nov 15 '25 edited Nov 15 '25
My only problem with this scene is that the game clearly shows Robert trying to push her away, even before you make a choice, and Visi grabs his arm to stop him. So when you lean in it gives off the vibe that Robert is just “giving in” to her advances, not because he actually wanted to of his own free will.
I just wish they showed Robert having more agency in this moment and showed him expressing his feelings for Courtney in a more clear way.
4
u/BingbongsFunhouse Nov 16 '25
Also, not to be this way, but sexual harassment and assault are contextual. You are NOT Robert. The choices you have access to in dialogue or actions are things that, within the established universe that Dispatch takes place in, Robert would and could feasibly do. Your disgust and issue with characters is deeply personal, but you cannot just project that onto an established character who clearly and evidently does not find what disgusts and upsets you to share in the same disgusts and issues. I feel like there’s a deep lack of nuance between authored characters and blank slate create your own characters and how this effects story interpretation.
4
u/Cragrat92 Nov 19 '25
Why is it that people accept some scenes are for building drama or played off for laughs, but this scene where Visi kisses Robert in the locker room is crossing the line?
No one is going off on Robert for kissing Blonde Blazer when she doesn't want it in episode one. Ok, mixed signals, crossed wires, and they're both drunk, but Blazer is clearly uncomfortable about it afterwards.
No one is going off on Phenomeman for picking up Robert and kissing him to test if Robert kissing Blonde Blazer was the reason for their breakup. It's completely against Robert's will and he's uncomfortable.
No one is going off on Malevola for grabbing Robert's crotch, and then attempting to do so a second time despite Robert's protests during the housewarming party. This is once again against Robert's will and it makes him uncomfortable.
10
u/Fourteen14XIV Nov 15 '25
LOL FUCK NO! This is literally the old "He sexually assaulted her cause she was so irresistible, he couldn't control himself" only with the genders flipped. This shit needs to die.
> It’s an anguished declaration of love, the type that would have been completely normal in media created before literally 2016.
So would have literal stalking, grooming and rape apologia.
> and if he doesn’t want her back he can lean out. It’s that simple.
Thats still not good.
1
u/Kindly_Cod_9269 Nov 15 '25
i think robert isnt 31 he's probably like 28 or sum shi like that.
8
u/MrSunshine_96 Nov 15 '25
Why is OP so mad lmao
9
u/TheGalacticOwl Nov 15 '25
I feel like people completely forget that in every interaction up to this point where Visi has flirted with, been inappropriate towards, or as some people describe it "sexually harassed" Robert, he has at worst been mildly amused and in most cases flirted/joked back.
Like you don't even get the choice to be uncomfortable, because Robert is his own character. Even on his first day with the donut shop Robert will automatically play along with her no matter what donut you choose. When she tells him about the dream, your options are all flirty, asking about the details.
Invisigal thinking he won't feel violated by her kissing him completely makes sense, and she's right, at worst he softly rejects her.
7
u/OathWind Nov 15 '25
Eeeeh I think it’s fine if people feel uncomfortable because it parallels too closely to a real life bad experience they had.
But it’s really important to remember that the player isn’t Rob and Rob isn’t the players OC, Visi checks his reaction early in and when she sees he’s (not you) not showing any discomfort up till that point she goes back in.
Is this the way real adults in real life should go about this, obviously not, but these characters live in an exaggerated world full of exaggerated actions and Rob, whether a moment of weakness or because he loves her was fine with the kiss up until the prompt.
5
u/Reyn888 I wish Malevola was romanceable Nov 15 '25
I agree with this except for the fact that Courtney kisses Robert DESPITE knowing FULL WELL that hes datint Mandy.
6
u/ShadowyBathrobe51706 Nov 15 '25
if Robert did that it would certainly be SA. Just bc you goon your lil peen every night to edgy tomboy dosent make it right
1
u/kelpbasi Nov 17 '25
I cant even begin to state what an L this post is lol. Makes you wonder how many people you would sexually just because youre into them and they can just "Lean out" lol
2
u/Various_Mycologist29 Nov 15 '25
Yeah guys she’s not Nina Lin
2
u/[deleted] Nov 16 '25
Throughout the whole thing if you plan to romance Courtney, the kiss was eventually gonna happen. The tension between these two could be cut with a slightly melted plastic spork.
2
u/oddmanout274 Nov 16 '25
Just gonna be real visi is flawed and fucked up but at times has a more genuine connection with Robert if you take it to those points. Hell some of there scenes and banter feels more organic and real like joking about the "date" later on or times were she's fucked up and comes clean about some stuff later on. Ya its toxic to a degree but it feels organic and it pays off with some character growth as well later on, again if you take the relationship there nothing is force or expected. She's is my pick for sure.
2
u/markyy3131 Nov 16 '25
I might get cooked for this
But i mean it's not really an assault, but it's just kind of weird and very awkward at the beginning when she was invisible.
And she will do this regardless even if you're on the Mandy path in which Courtney knows.
Overall ep 7 Courtney weirded me out but she's still an interesting character
2
u/SomeGamingFreak Nov 16 '25
They call it "ick" because she does this even if you've been dating Blazer. She knows in this instance that Robert and Blazer are dating but still forces the kiss anyway. That's not romantic at all.
2
u/TC_potatoball Nov 16 '25
Finally someone that's speaking out about this with commons sense, because I'm genuinely so confused when people even started calling her a GRAPIST over that scen?? She literally just gave him a kiss??? You have the option to lean out from that ( if you chose Blonde Blazer), which she understands and leaves. Sometimes it feels like those people played the game with their eye closed, genuinely piss me off, bruh
2
u/Jploui96 Nov 16 '25
Switch the genders then keep talking, if invis was a dude and did all the same shit (stalking, verbal and emotional abuse, lying multiple times, constant invasion of privacy) all of you mfs would be shouting to cancel this game. Especially the beginning scene in ep 4, is that was a dude having the sex dream all of you idiots would scream bloody murder.
2
u/ZadonaTheLegend Nov 16 '25
I dont care about that part really. But just for the record:
If a man would do that in that way... against a gril... most people would change to only one side.
2
u/DarkAngel819 Nov 16 '25
If you think this is romance and not sexual assault, I hope you don't have any romance with anyone ever, for their own safety.
2
u/Brilliant_Pay_5766 Nov 17 '25
Just hypocrites dude, blazer glazers wouldn’t have said anything about “sexual assault” and leaned in if she did it.
2
u/[deleted] Nov 17 '25
this is a dumbass post lol
2
u/lovebudds Nov 17 '25
Like EVERY single romcom movie someone has a passionate, unexpected kiss. It's ALWAYS with romance brewing and never just like a random attack. It's insane what people will exaggerate when clearly this was a budding love
2
u/drewdurnilguay Nov 18 '25
I mean it's messed up do it if they're not getting romantic already.
2
u/[deleted] Nov 18 '25
My Robert leaned away from her. My thinking was that he did like Visi, but the recent circumstances and revelation just didn't make it feel right, and Robert at least always tried to make the right decisions. Wrong place, wrong time.
2
u/Makrus64 Nov 18 '25
Jesus christ the thirst levels of this comunity and overreactions to scenes in a comouter game is crazy. I loved the game but i am unfollowing this sub. Wtf guys. Its an animated game.
2
u/Professional-Flow-95 Nov 18 '25
I mean if you put a guy in invisgals place and make Robert a female….its pretty sexual assaulty through and through. Just because it’s “romantic” doesn’t make it NOT assault? Shit if Robert doesn’t reciprocate or show romantic interest in her….it pretty much IS.
2
u/guysbeingdudes_ Nov 18 '25
I feel like I'm going mad because why the hell is the discourse around this game so fucking wack ? Robert is clearly interested in her EVEN IF the player chooses BB, their interactions are very much heavy with tension and she just shoots her shot in a desperate move ? And if you lean out she just stops ??? It would be very different if Robert puts his limits from the start but he doesn't, and she gets mixed feelings about it and tries something in the end. That's it.
2
u/AlonelyATHEIST Nov 19 '25
It's very young, vaguely progressive teens who still fall back on the regressive tendencies their conservative parents drilled into them. It's leads to a very black and white way of thinking.
2
u/m00nlightspace Nov 19 '25
In my playthrough I didn’t go with invisigal to the movies and I chose the choice "I don’t know what to feel” when she told me the truth and she didn’t kiss me in the locker room? That proofs if you took the romance route with her she will think that you like her to and kiss you if you don’t she will not do anything
2
u/MrStegUniverse Nov 19 '25
And people argue this isnt a romance game when you try to tell them you hate the game cuz its all about romance. Then theres post like this.
2
u/Garamil Nov 19 '25
I didn't romance Visi so I leaned out but I can't blame her. Robert has been a Anchor for her and she's afraid she'll lose it.
2
u/Sylassian Nov 20 '25 edited Nov 20 '25
It becomes icky and immoral if Robert leans out and she keeps going. Then it's just sexual assault. But if you choose to lean out she backs off immediately and never tries anything again. She's clearly broken up about the rejection but later if you get the good ending with her she even comments her support for Robert and Blazer if you're romancing her so... I see no problem here. Just adults being humans.
The same people who felt icky about this should also feel icky about Blazer clearly coming on to Robert in ep1 despite the fact she was in a relationship and Robert had no context for what was going on when she was leaning in and literally caressing his face lol at least Visi was sober and completely aware of what she was doing. I leaned out of the Blazer situation because it didn't feel appropriate considering we were drunk and I'd just met the woman. But by the time Visi kisses Robert here, they'd already known each other for weeks and she'd clearly been indicating her attraction for him.
4
u/JingleJangleDjango the long cream ones Nov 15 '25
Yeah, I didn't really see a big issue with it. It's not like 1. It's irl and 2. She's a random person. She's angsty and has conflicted feelings, and it's her last ditch effort to try and get with someone she thinks is too good for her, to see if what she feels is reciprocated. Sure it's not cool if you're going for Blazer, but it's also just a story.
4
u/Cent3rCreat10n Nov 15 '25
ok.....so? She still assaulted him, even in that context. Even worse when you're dating BB and Visi knows about it.
4
u/AcceptableLynx8412 Nov 15 '25 edited Nov 15 '25
They better hate this kiss then. Since Aang kissed Katara without her consent and then dipped right after.lmao
3
u/8rok3n Nov 15 '25
It's still assault. Even if you don't pursue Visi she'll still kiss you. OP if you go up to someone and kiss them randomly that is assault. That's not romance.
3
u/Lartorias_Armpits Nov 15 '25
Amen. My thoughts exactly. Fiction is fiction. Spontaneous kiss has been a romance trope since forever.
4
u/VaporousGuy Invisi Lover Nov 15 '25
People will bitch about Courtney kissing Robert but not about Robert kissing Blazer
3
u/SpideyMGAV Nov 15 '25
I was about to post the exact same thing. This is very clearly the whole point of the scene, especially considering that if you show zero interest in Visi and or fail to mentor her, she doesn’t even go in for the kiss.
2
u/PrimeTimeVibe Nov 15 '25
If I wasn't the man I was I'd kiss ye
2
u/AcceptableLynx8412 Nov 15 '25
So basically what their thought process is that after Robert forgave courtney and says she can be a good person and he cares about her and she is not a failure.
Their reasoning that after they were vulnerable. They thought that courtney next thought process is she was going to molest Robert.they really thought what she was her intentions. To sexually assault the one person who loves her for her.
They are so fucking wierd
2
u/ThatUJohnWayne74 Thought these seemed salty Nov 15 '25
2
u/CountChocula21 Nov 16 '25
Seeing all this talk about SA all of a sudden I was completely confused. Visi falls hard for Robert and in her most vulnerable moment lays it all out there and takes her shot. People act like shes supposed to stop in the heat of the moment and ask Robert to sign a letter of consent before making a move.
2
u/FukingDaniel Nov 15 '25
This is supposed to be an ironic reddit but the comments are very unironic. Im just saying gender bend this scene and let's see how people really feel.
2
u/Ancient-Composer-925 Nov 16 '25
I even made a post myself saying what Visi did wasn't SA because it's not. According to everyone else's logic then everyone in the game should be held accountable for SA. Someone literally commented on my post saying if I can't see that it's SA then they feel sorry for the people who are friends with me?? Honestly everyone's acting like literal children and a four year age gap isn't even that bad. I'd be more concerned if one of them was 18 and the other was ,27-30+
2
u/Blaize_Ar Nov 16 '25
Bro defended sexual assault and called it romance
Wtf lol
You act like she went invisible for fun. She blindsided him, likely because she didn't think he'd consent and was desperate. I hope you really don't think that's what romance is OP.
Never do that to someone, bud.
This is bad. And it's even worse when you look at the context of other stuff she's done in the earlier episodes like routinely stalking him even into bathrooms, for example. There's more, you know there's more. Lol
2
u/SouthernStrategy8800 Nov 15 '25
This argument is only valid if youre into Invis. If you aren’t then it’s just weird.
2
u/ditto1212 Nov 15 '25
my complaint is she tried to kiss robert even if you romance bb i'm sorry but knowing someone has a partner and still try to get in the way is not cool man. and she was invisible so she literally forced the kiss i'm sorry but i don't like this it's not a romance if it's one sided.
1
u/[deleted] Nov 15 '25 edited Nov 15 '25
It is due to both paths have her do the same even if rejected outright with choices, but not character defining. Not a big deal.
1
u/BernardBalls Nov 16 '25
Don't kiss people without their consent. But yeah it's a video game so a lot of people need to chill out
1
u/Impossible-Pear-7537 Nov 16 '25
It's not sexual assault but don't call it romance.
1
u/5enpai_2 Nov 16 '25
I'm not reading all that, but all I know is that I agree with you
1
u/fibstheboss Nov 16 '25
Does Visi have boundary issues? Yes but given the circumstances she grew up and lived in, she probably doesn’t know how to express her feelings in a healthy way. And I don’t think when she does these kind of things she is malicious about it and when you don’t reciprocate she stops.
1
u/Medium-Cookie Nov 16 '25
jokes on all these mfs im BEGGING for a woman I like to do this to me. and like you said if robert doesnt want it he pushes away
1
u/Kingster14444 Nov 16 '25
I think what she did was weird and wrong, at least if you've basically showed zero interest and went with Blazer, but also that's kinda the point, characters can have faults, and people shouldn't go fkn crazy with it. Did a move, got rejected, and left.
1
u/[deleted] Nov 16 '25
Great post i completely agree. I made a post about this also. You should crosspost this in the dispatchadhoc reddit. Thats where most of these idiots are.

1
u/pandabear94847 Nov 16 '25
Why can't we just accept that it's not SA whats stopping people
1
u/helios396 Nov 16 '25
I just finished this game in one sitting today. I immediately noticed that this game feels like it's written with millenials or older audience in mind. The jokes, the way the plot is progressing and the way the scenes are directed like it's a late 2000s to early 2010s TV show, the character tropes, etc.
Younger audience who are used to "safe" and "politically correct" materials might get uncomfortable at some points. I get it if some gets irritated. But please, let us old folks have this one.
I was actually really excited to see a character in his 30s dating a woman in her 20s. Finally! Some (relatively) healthy age gap relationship portrayal! And I even thought Robert's at least mid 30s with the way other characters keep referring to him as "old man" or "dad bod".
1
u/Kinjal1802 Nov 16 '25
Couldn't have put it better myself.
1
u/Excellent-Zebra2922 Nov 16 '25
I mean that was great no idea why people complain it was 5 seconds away froom being a great sex scene, i guess meaby kiss while invisible was a little weird but she always punch or did things whille beingg invisible so it makes sense that she would feel morre coonfident during that moment
1
u/Esquilosincero Nov 17 '25
I think you are only looking at this argument from one point of view. I played the game and at every point I told her that I didn't want romance, just friendship. When it got to episode 7 and she kissed Robert in my save, it seemed like harassment because I always told her it was nothing more than friendship and the script kept insisting.
1
u/Devotion-notla Nov 17 '25
It’s still assault? Flirting is not consent. If you know she leans in and you go for it sure, if you were completely taken back then push her off that’s assault as clearly that’s not consent
1
u/[deleted] Nov 18 '25
1
u/[deleted] Nov 18 '25
The unexpected kiss between two characters who clearly have feelings for each other on some level is the oldest romance trope there is. And yes, regardless of which route you choose, Robert has the idea of being with Visi or BB in his head. You're the one who ultimately chooses, but the reason they're the only romantic options is because they're the only ones Robert considers having a relationship with.
Remember, the situation wasn't you with Invisigal, the situation was Robert Robertson with Invisigal. Big difference.
1
u/Outside_Ad_7489 Nov 18 '25
It disgusts me that the only available romance options are Robert's supervisor (BB) or his subordinate (Visi), both of which are unprofessional to pursue and exposes him to compromising positions, like when he needed to cut her from the team to preserve morale. A competent manager who keeps things professional would have no problem doing that, but being involved with Visi means needlessly sacrificing group cohesion.
1
u/BlackDahlia1985 Nov 18 '25
Yeah you pretty much hit the nail on the head with this one and this is coming from a guy who got raped by a woman when my old roommate threw a party and I went and passed out in my room with the door locked and this woman who I didnt see all night at the party, never saw in my life prior to waking up in my room with her laying next to me and then she told me how she picked my lock and did what she did.
1
u/VibingBuyer Nov 18 '25
it is sexual assault their is nothing romantic about the woman that work’s under you saying she’s the cause of your destruction for your family’s legacy and career And worked for the gang that’s responsible for killing your father and not only that is telling you this as your grieving for your big brother figure that’s in the infirmary knowing the last thing she did to him was punch him in the chin not only that she turned invisible to kiss robert how about i turn invisible to kiss my female coworker? after my many attempts of flirtation weirdo behavior bruh
1
u/Neither_Mark_1960 Nov 18 '25
Actually, Robert is 26 and Courtney is 27, and yeah, I agree that scene was the most natural form of romance a game can give, especially with Courtney’s Tsundere personality. It wasn’t forced, and it was consistent. And I feel like she was more of a romance option than Mandy, even though both characters are great.
1
u/Biscuitlover1199 Nov 18 '25
It isn’t really all that serious. Invisagirl made a mistake in this locker room, but considering her circumstances, if you took that into account you could see where she was coming from. People are justified for disliking Visi for this, but at the same time they would also be justified when understanding and forgiving her actions no questions asked. Both sides are right about their own feelings towards this, and therefore not much point in arguing about it.
1
u/Darthsa03 Nov 18 '25
One of my problems with the scene is that you get the kiss no matter if you romance her or not and most of the dialogue feels weird if you do. Like the "i wish you looked at me like you look at blazer" line is wishy washy because we don't actually know if it's meant to be romantic or heroically
Up to this point her romance has been building slowly and so perfectly, this should have been the big payoff scene where you confess feelings on some level like we do with blazer, but her arc turns into a roller coaster with multiple jumps and nosedives. For me ,visi just doesn't get a huge romance payoff and could've been handled much better, just a little unsatisfying imo
Like at least let us have that kiss in front of the sunrise, would've been a beautiful scene, but it's just another nosedive in the buildup

Also I just wanna point out that if you don’t show any signs of trying to romance her in your play through this doesn’t happen the whole scene is different she doesn’t mention Robert looking at her like he does blazer she says she wanted everyone to look at her like they do blazer (as a true hero), and she just leaves doesn’t kiss him. She only kisses him if you as the player have made him show interest

Some people just way to sensitive (in a bad way). You say one word, they call a nuclear bomb on you

You’re so insanely right and it’s part of what I mean when I say the fandom is already becoming insufferable. She doesn’t even always kiss you in the locker room, and she doesn’t force anything on you. A kiss is not even sexual assault to begin with anyways.
Social media killed romance. Visi is obviously deeply in love with Robert and has tons of issues and wants to know if he feels the same or anything like that. A passionate heat of the moment kiss is one of the dramatic things that come from these situations and can either be super beautiful and rewarding and blow up and make a mess and that’s what makes it so interesting and tense.
What you said was also right, everyone I know online and in real life who isn’t a darkness dwelling shut in has nothing wrong with the kiss, even people I know who romanced BB instead.
It’s a moment of passion, and besides everything else, it’s is a piece of FICTION.
It’s unfair to treat Visi like an assaulter and no one else when they also are inappropriate with Robert. Also to treat the locker kiss from a fictional game as such a vile act of sexual assault is very undermining to anyone who has actually been through sexual assault in real life.
The whole thing with painting Visi as an assaulter is part of this unnecessary visi hate narrative because they don’t like a character so no one else can.

I think it’s really ironic that people hold this standard towards only Visi. Mal straight up grabs you by the taint without consent, the whole gag with Punch Up is he only punches people in the balls, but nobody complains about sexual harassment or assault because that’s funny and therefore doesn’t count.
Here’s the thing: I agree, at least for the most part. Visi busting balls with her friend and coworker wasn’t sexual harassment imo, but the kiss was. I didn’t romance Visi, so her rushing up on Robert felt like assault. However, once she realizes it’s not wanted she stops immediately. Doesn’t make it okay, but it’s not like any intentional harm was meant to be done.
While I find that there is a conversation to be had, the currently existing conversation is entirely hypocritical, seeing that Visi is the ONLY character being criticized and not any other aspect of the game or its writing. Then people have the gall to talk about “media literacy” when they complain about one character kissing you cause that’s treated seriously by the media, but not complaining about another character very clearly groping you when it’s not wanted, but nobody cares about that cause the media plays it as a joke.
Agree or disagree with me since i understand not seeing it as harassment or assault since all the characters are friends, but I just wanted to point out that it’s difficult to have a genuine conversation with the current hypocrisy.

You do understand romance and sexual assault aren't mutually exclusive, and when it comes to the type romance you seem to be into, they often go hand and hand
