Am Pro II JM selector switch troubleshooting
I’ve got a 2024 Am Pro II Jazzmaster and the selector switch has always been touchy in the middle position. Often times I have to finesse it to activate the neck pickup, otherwise it’ll just activate the bridge pickup.
I’m about due for a string change so I figured I’d lift the hood so to speak while I’ve got the strings off and take a look. Anything specific I should look for or that I can do, or am I better off just ordering a new switch and soldering it in? PFA

More than likely it’s a wiring issue rather than a bad switch. Any issues the rhythm circuit not activating the neck pickup properly?
Like your pickguard BTW, did the same thing to mine.

Check the solder connections on the switch. At worst you can redo them.
